A glimpse into the Bring Me Home Rewards System
Updated: Jan 9
Hello, I’m Jen and I’ve been an avid user of food ordering platforms for as long as I can remember. One of the more recent food apps that stood out to me is the Bring Me Home App, which I’ve been actively using since they launched in Melbourne last year.
WTF is Bring Me Home? Bring Me Home is a mobile app that let’s you buy and pick up discounted surplus food from nearby cafes and restaurants, which would otherwise be wasted.
In a nutshell, I get to save money and save the environment all at the same time with a simple click of a button. This is definitely one of the most innovative AND practical solutions to combatting food waste at the retail level. As you can see, I’m unashamedly passionate about this initiative, and have since joined the team.
Enough of the backstory and on to the actual reason why you’re here.
The Rewards System
In this new update, Bring Me Home has introduced a dedicated ‘Impact Page’ where you can track the number of meals and amount of money you’ve saved. Of course, being a fan of the app, I’ve saved a grand total of 51 meals thus far and saved my bank account a whopping $253 from food alone. Wow.
💭 Through the joy of saving this much money, I can’t help but feel a little concerned about my food consumption habits as well…
I was pleasantly surprised to see that Bring Me Home had graciously credited my account with points earned from all my past purchases, totaling up to $5.42 in credit. This is essentially a free meal!
The numbers tell a story. Looking at the figures, I’m truly surprised with the sheer number of meals saved over a short period of time. Who could imagine that by simply purchasing cheap meals off an app, I could make such a difference!
So what are you waiting for? Update your app and claim your rewards today!
